Build up your resume by raising your hand

Are you adventurous? Are you creative? Are you organized? Are you analytical? Do you love playing with money? Do you love having fun?

Then you might be interested in helping us organize the Spring Conference!

The first thought in your head right now is probably, "But I don't have the time!" That's what I said too. And then I realized that it's not going to take as much time as we think - we always exaggerate that. And ... I'll be able to put those organizational and leadership skills on my resume. Telling my boss about what I'm doing will help me look better when there's a promotion being decided. Best of all ... not all the jobs take a lot of work.

You might just want to help out for a few hours with registrations. It's fun meeting all those people as seeing familiar faces. Maybe you're a thinker and relish the intellectual challenge of creating a strategic communications plan. Maybe you always dreamed of being a film maker. Now here's a chance to create video-tapes people can watch on our website.

Here’s a snapshot of where you can put your skills to great use:

  • Treasurer (keeping us on track!)
  • Registrations (online, paper, at the door, kits)
  • Hospitality (help us plan the activities)
  • Communications (keeping everyone excited!)
  • Facilities (ensuring rooms, materials, etc are appropriately set-up and ready)
  • Volunteers (helping participants, executive, speakers and guests)
  • Sales / Bookstore (organizing and selling TM items)
  • Fundraising (identifying and pursuing opportunities to help with the conference)
  • First-Timers Event (organizing event for 1st timers of a TM Conference)
  • Sgt-at-Arms (keeping track on logistics, security)
  • Secretary (keeping notes of meetings and ensuring actions recorded)
  • Multi-media (audio, visual, designs, print materials)
  • Education (working with LGET on program)

The door is open. Come on in! Your role can be small or large – we need you!

Contact Patricia ( or phone 470-0673 or 455-0992) to tell us you can help.
