District 45 Spring Conference - Sailing to Success
May 18 – 20, 2012 in Halifax, Nova Scotia

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

All Proposals Due: January 15th, 2012

The Planning Committee for the District 45 Spring Conference 2012 invites proposals for presentations at our conference. Presentations should focus on helping clubs and members “Sail to Success” by providing practical ideas that can be implemented at the club level. Although presentations on other topics will be considered, preference will be given to those that address the educational and leadership needs of clubs and members.

Guidelines for Submitting Proposals

ALL proposals must be submitted with the following required information:

  1. Title of presentation.
  2. Complete mailing address, phone, and email address of contact person or organizer.
  3. Abstract (up to 150 words).
  4. Your experience with presenting workshops.
  5. Area addressed by your presentation (education, communication or leadership).

Please note that data projectors and laptops will be provided. If you plan to use the laptop provided, please provide your presentation in advance so it can be loaded onto the computer.

Criteria for selection of presentations:

  1. Relevance of topic to clubs and members.
  2. Experience with presenting.
  3. Proposals received after January 15th, 2012 will be held and considered if back up presenters are needed.
